Employee career services evolving to meet changing needs and expectations

Human Resource Services’ employee career services are evolving to provide better service to employees at all levels of leadership.

There will continue to be a focus on supporting career development for employees as they navigate their career journey in a changing landscape, providing the necessary tools and resources to support success.

Human Resources will be expanding existing in-demand career workshops on resume writing, interviewing, career management and other subjects, as well as enhancing online resources to further support employees who want to develop their career.

As well, the scope of one-to-one coaching sessions is evolving, with multiple options available, including individual coaching though the Employee Family Assistance Program, leadership coaching through the McMaster Leadership Development Program and a roster of coaching providers.

More information regarding career development programming can be found on the HR website. Additional inquiries can be directed to Melanie Garaffa, associate director, Talent, Equity and Development.
