Cybernetic Orchestra to kick things off at Winterfest this Saturday

McMaster’s own Cybernetic Orchestra will be on hand for the winter festivities happening at Hamilton’s Waterfront this Saturday.

The Orchestra composed of multimedia students will be hosting free live coding workshops for children and adults from 3-5 p.m. at the Discovery Centre. No skills are required to participate.

Later on, the Orchestra will be performing the world’s first ever “algoskate” —  music created by programming in real time. With large video displays next to the skating rink, people will be able to see the coding happen in front of them. Don’t miss their performance, it begins at 7 p.m.
