Community Trails Day taking place June 7
McMaster is pleased to be hosting the Trailhead Ontario Conference in early June.
To celebrate nature and the extensive trails in Hamilton and Burlington, a number of partners are hosting a fun-filled Community Trails Day with a variety of activities and workshops to educate and entertain people of all ages.
Check out what is planned for the day on Sunday, June 7:
9:30 am | Event opens with live music |
10:00 am | Gary Potts – The Man Tracker Presentation |
11:00 am | Mountsberg Raptor Center Birds of Prey Presentation |
12:30 pm | Mountsberg Raptor Center Birds of Prey Presentation |
1:30 pm | Author – Arthur Boers, Way is Made by Walking |
2:00 pm | Reptiles Show & Conservation Presentation |
3:00 pm | Renee Thomas Hill Six Nations Presentation |
Activities throughout the day will also include:
- Community Marketplace with local vendors
- Interactive Workshops on Safe Cycling by Cyclemania & Hamilton Helmet Initiative
- Kids Zone with bird house building, face painting, nature chalking and more
- Food trucks
