Clean Air Commute

During the week of June 17-23, McMaster will take part in Pollution Probe’s Clean Air Commute sustainable commuting challenge. During the challenge, students and employees are encouraged to commute to work and/or school in a more sustainable way by biking, walking, telecommuting, taking public transit, driving a hybrid, carpooling or by giving the car a tune-up!

McMaster University won the challenge for the past three years by having the highest rate of participation among similarly sized organizations across the GTHA.

Help Mac win again! This year, we are aiming for 800 clean air commuters. For your participation to contribute to McMaster reaching this goal, you can register online or at one of the various locations on campus AND log at least one sustainable commute before June 24.

All registrants will receive an orange wristband that grants them access to the HSR, free of charge, all day on Thursday June 20. Wristbands can be picked up from these locations.

There will also be numerous events during the week, including a free pancake breakfast and a walk through Cootes Paradise.

Happy commuting!
