Classroom information will not be publicly visible

In a message to the university community, Susan Tighe, McMaster’s provost and vice president, Academic, asked that classroom information, such as room locations, not be made publicly visible in any physical form or online.

This decision was made to promote the safety of students, faculty and staff.

Tighe also encouraged students, faculty and staff to download the McMaster Safety App to receive notifications about campus closures and emergency information.

Additional information about promoting a culture of safety and wellbeing was also shared in the message, which can be found on the Provost’s website.
