Celebrating Student Engagement and Philanthropy Day at McMaster

On Thursday, Feb. 27, current students and the McMaster Alumni Association will join forces to celebrate Student Engagement and Philanthropy Day.

This year’s event is based around the theme of “a little means a lot,” illustrating that any donation, no matter the size, can make a big difference on campus.The broad focus of the day is to spread awareness of the impact of alumni giving, and what it means for the McMaster community.

Students will be encouraged to share a bit of their time to write a thank-you card to a donor, or deliver a personal thank-you message in a video.

Participants will also have a chance to win a $100 gift card to a location of their choosing by sharing a few ideas about what new initiatives they would like to see at McMaster. Coffee and alumni swag will also be available.

Please join the McMaster Alumni Association in the MUSC atrium between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Feb. 27 to find out how a little can mean a lot.
