Casting call for this year’s production of IRIS

Students with an interest in acting and writing are invited to participate in IRIS. 

Celebrating its 10th year, IRIS — an acronym for Inspiration, Reflection, Integrity, Success — is an orientation drama production that welcomes new students to their first year at McMaster. Students from all faculties, programs, and levels are encouraged to consider this unique leadership opportunity.

Rehearsals will take place June 9 to Aug. 25 — Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. For more information, contact Brian Long at longbj@mcmaster.ca.

Want to help shape the IRIS script? Students in Level 2 or higher are invited to share their stories of what first year was all about and participate in a “Re-Imaging IRIS” creative workshop — May 11 in T-13 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., or May 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. A free pita meal will be provided.
