Carl Sagan’s Universe: Planetarium showing, Thursday April 21


On Thursday April 21 visit the W.J. McCallion Planetarium for two special showings of “Carl Sagan’s Universe,” one of the featured activities in the McMaster Environmental Crawl and part of Climate Change & Environment: Navigating from Risk to Resilience, the final set of events in the Big Ideas, Better Cities series.

The McCallion Planetarium provides audiences of all backgrounds with a perspective of the Universe and their place within it. Carl Sagan was a famous astronomer, and an advocate for scientific literacy and critical-thinking- much needed abilities when dealing with climate change.

Visit the planetarium for one of two showings of this special presentation:

  • 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
