CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

An election will be held November 27 and 28, 2018, to fill the vacant non-teaching staff representative seat on the Board of Governors.

One vacancy, 3-year term (July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2021).

NOMINATION PERIOD

Thursday November 8, 2018 to Friday November 16, 2018.

Completed nomination forms must be received in the University Secretariat (Gilmour Hall 210) by 4 p.m. on Friday November 16, 2018.

Nomination forms are available at https://secretariat.mcmaster.ca/home/elections/non-teaching-staff/ or from the University Secretariat in Gilmour Hall 210.

DEFINITIONS OF ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES AND NOMINATORS

“’Non-Teaching Staff’ means the employees of the University and of a college affiliated with the University who are not members of the teaching staff but shall not include students.” (Board of Governors By-law No. 1, 1. (j))

Employee status refers to those who are employed on a continuing basis at the University, either in a full-time or continuing part-time capacity.
