Back to Mac: Principles and Practices for an Inclusive Community

McMaster’s Equity and Inclusion Office (EIO) has released Back to Mac Principles and Practices for an Inclusive Community, a guide for the McMaster community aimed at keeping the transition back to campus grounded in the following core principles:

  • Community health and safety
  • Equity and accessibility
  • Privacy and confidentiality
  • Dignity and inclusivity

“As we begin to slowly transition back to McMaster this 2021-2022 academic year, it will be incumbent upon on all of us to be thoughtful about our interactions with each other and within our teams and groups,” says the EIO website.

“This is particularly important at this time for reintegration as the personal, academic, and professional impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to be felt and are especially amplified among certain communities.”
