The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada is now called Universities Canada.
The organization announced the name change Wednesday at a membership meeting in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Universities Canada is the national voice for Canadian universities. It represents 97 public and private non-for-profit universities and university degree-level colleges.
