Art in the Workplace opens at Innovation Park

Today, McMaster Innovation Park (MIP) announced the launch of the 13th Art in the Workplace exhibit at McMaster Innovation Park on Thursday, December 5th, 2013. This is a free event where attendees will experience the creative flair of more than 100 local artists and more than 300 pieces of original art.

Art in the Workplace is an event open to the public while providing the opportunity to meet the artists and enjoy a fine selection of wine and cheese. The launch takes place from 7pm to 9pm.

Art in the Workplace was launched in 2009 to enable local artists to connect with local art lovers to promote and sell their creative works. It is a tremendous opportunity for new and emerging artists to display their works alongside the works of established artists and to promote their art to potential collectors.  From paintings and photography to ceramics and sculpture, the Atrium@MIP is the perfect place to experience new and rising artistic talent.  Art in the Workplace is true to the Mission and Vision of McMaster Innovation Park to Co-Locate, Connect and Commercialize and is positioned to continue into the future as a foundational initiative of McMaster Innovation Park to the Artistic community of Hamilton

“The 13th installment of Art in the Workplace represents the success of this community based program that showcases so many immensely talented local artists,” says Mark Stewart, Leasing and Marketing Manager of McMaster Innovation Park, Chair of Art in the Workplace.  “We invite the public to join us and help celebrate art and the contribution it makes towards a more healthy work environment.”
