Looking for a summer travel experience? Applications for the 2013 edition of MacServe Global are currently being accepted. Organizers are searching for up to 20 participants for each trip – one to Costa Rica, and another to Peru.

MacServe Global is an international, multi-week experience that occurs in May. It challenges participants to live in, learn about and critically evaluate issues in a host community. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their communities through service learning and reflection.

The cost of each trip includes all food, accommodations and transportation while in the host country, along with tourism, service and reflection activities. It does not include food while in transit (i.e. snacks at the airport) or souvenirs.

Applications will be accepted until Jan. 18, 2013.
