An update from the Committee to Recommend a President

The Committee to Recommend a President continues to undertake its work, meeting this month to review candidate profiles, applications and nominations. The Committee is pleased with the progress being made and reports it remains aligned with the timeframe that was outlined at the beginning of the process.

The committee is led by Paul Douglas, past chair of the Board of Governors. Maureen MacDonald, dean of science, is vice-chair. McMaster’s current board chair Brad Merkel is a committee member.
