Aboriginal Students Health Sciences offering free public lecture


The Aboriginal Students Health Sciences (ASHS) speaker series is pleased to present a free public lecture on Tuesday, Oct. 2. Honoured guests from the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health, Flinders University, will share their experiences and lead a group discussion from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the McMaster University Medical Centre (MUMC) room 4E20.

The event is part of the ongoing series “Learning Across Hemispheres: Indigenous Elders Are Educators” and will feature:

Professor Della Yarnold (Chair for the Poche Centre of Indigenous Health, Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia).

Courtney Ryder (Director of Indigenous Transitions Pathways, Flinders, NT).

Colleen Hayes Mpetyane (Country: Engoliluk/Barrow Creek – Blacktank/Apmwerre Outstations, Origins from Kayteye/Arrernte Amatyerre/Alwayerre, central Australia).
