A week of workshops, talks to help find the story in your research

Complex ideas. Hard-to-describe methodologies. Jargon-laden explanations.

Talking about your research can be a challenge whether you’re just beginning your scholarly pursuits or you’re an experienced research pro. In fact, you may be struggling to find that story of your research – hidden in the endless hours of collecting and analyzing data, testing and re-testing in the lab, literature reviews, fieldwork.

Learn how to effectively communicating your research within academia and beyond during Communication Week for Faculty, Postdoctoral Fellows and Graduate Students. From June 6 to 9, a series of interactive sessions and panel discussions will cover everything from editing academic papers to using social media, from crafting your elevator pitch to effective storytelling techniques.

It’s never too late – or too early – to learn new ways to share your story.
