9th Annual DAY in Faculty Development


On Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. the Program for Faculty Development will be hosting its Annual DAY in Faculty Development.

Each year, on the first Wednesday in May, the Program for Faculty Development hosts its Annual DAY in Faculty Development which provides an Interprofessional Innovations Fair;

Interactive Short Sessions and the yearly Henry & Sylvia WONG Forum in Medicine.

This year, it is offered at the new downtown McMaster Health Campus – David Braley Health Sciences Centre.

Short Sessions:

1) Introduction to Mindfulness with Ken Burgess and Elaine Principi

2) Finding Your Voice: Speaking With Influence and Impact with International Musical Theatre Performer, Colleen Aynn and Dr. Samantha Nutt, a McMaster alumna, activist and Founder and Executive Director of War Child Canada will be speaking, 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the David Braley Health Sciences Centre (room 2032, 100 Main St. W.).

Dr. Nutt will be speaking about Health Care Professionals as Advocates: Lessons from the Trenches for our annual WONG Forum in Medicine.
