125th anniversary closing event
The 125th Events Sub-Committee from the university-wide 125th Anniversary Committee would like to invite you to participate in the 125th Anniversary ‘Mac in Time’ exhibit event on Thursday, November 1st in Convocation Hall.
We are inviting groups that represent a cross-section of the University to create a display, highlighting their involvement and history over the years as a member of the Mac community. Space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
All displays will be available for an open house event in Convocation Hall from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on November 1, and all faculty, staff and students will be sent an invitation to attend to learn more about McMaster’s history. A small gift and light refreshments will be provided/served to attendees.
A covered 6 or 8 ft rectangular table will be supplied for each display. Ideas for your display could be a 3-fold panel with important photos, documents, facts, and figures about your area, and displaying items on your table that represent a piece of your area’s history. All displays requiring power must request an electrical drop with their confirmation of participation and electricity may not be available to all groups so will also be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
