Marauders defeat Gryphons in sold-out Homecoming game

Not all blowouts are works of art, but the McMaster Marauders will take what's given to them. In front of a packed house at Les Prince Field for annual homecoming celebrations, the seventh-ranked Marauders took advantage of several takeaways to earn a 54-2 victory over the Guelph Gryphons.

Pancake breakfast kicks off Homecoming

McMaster President Peter George helped serve pancakes this morning in the McMaster University Student Centre, as part of "Kick off to Homecoming," a three-day celebration leading up to McMaster's 67th Homecoming Weekend. Michael Ecker, president of the McMaster Alumni Association and Roger Trull, vice-president, University Advancement, also helped serve pancakes at the free breakfast, sponsored by Bank of Montreal McMaster Mosaik Mastercard. Marauders to battle Guelph in Homecoming game

This Saturday, the McMaster Marauders will battle the Guelph Gryphons during the University's 67th annual Homecoming game on Les Prince Field. The game, which begins at 2 p.m., will be a contest for sole possession of second place in the OUA.

Sports injury satellite clinic opens in Wentworth House

A satellite clinic for the McMaster Sports Injury Clinic has opened in Wentworth House. "The creation of the new satellite clinic represents the first phase of our expansion plan," says Colleen Cupido, clinic manager and physiotherapist. "It will allow us to expand our services to provide quality care to the entire McMaster community in a convenient campus location."

Great Romantics Festival marks a decade of celebration

McMaster has been spreading "romance" for 10 years through its Great Romantics Festival. This year, to mark its tenth anniversary, several special concerts have been arranged for the celebration, which takes place Oct. 7-9.
