Coming this fall, the record will help students keep track of their extra-curricular and co-curricular activities outside the classroom.
The winner in the polls was Student Activity Record (StAR) which received 42.2 per cent of the overall votes. The two original name winners were MORE, which stands for the McMaster Online Record of Engagement, and MacStAR, which is short for McMaster Student Activity Record.
The grand prize of the iPod Nano was awarded to Wesley Tong, a fifth-year student soon to be graduating from McMaster.
The two $50 gift certificates to Titles Bookstore were awarded to Jonathan Borrelli and Zhuoya Jia for their new name suggestions.
The Centre for Student Development thanks everyone who participated in the naming contest. There were many interesting submissions, and we appreciate the effort that went into creating each and every one of them.
