Wondering what those red tags are all over campus?

A group of student volunteers gathered last Friday to help the Alumni Advancement team
tag places and objects all over campus that were made possible through community gifts.
Buildings, rooms, equipment and more were given red tags that read “Made possible
through donations.” The tags are meant to serve as reminders of the support McMaster
receives from its community.

“We hung the tags to thank our donors and to show what they've done for students at
McMaster,” said Don Courchesne, one of the student volunteers. “We also want students to
see the tags and think about how their experience at McMaster would be different without
those gifts.”

In recognition of National Philanthropy Day, Nov. 15, McMaster is celebrating its first-
ever
McMaster Philanthropy Week, an opportunity to thank the University's 10,000 annual
donors and celebrate
the campus community members who make the University's innovative research and
discovery possible.
