‘When we act together, we can keep the wolf from the door’
Stuart McLean, host of CBC Radio’s The Vinyl Café, told McMaster graduates that Convocation marks the beginning of their full citizenship – and that citizens are “all in this together.”
McLean was awarded an honorary degree at Tuesday afternoon’s Humanities Convocation, at which he addressed students and their families.
McLean’s remarks touched on the importance of being an engaged citizen and the many great things people can accomplish when they come together.
