Watch Welcome Day’s opening ceremonies
Thousands of incoming students and their families were on campus Friday for the University’s annual Welcome Day.
Students attended lectures on academics, finances and developing good study habits, while parents attended sessions which provided tips on helping students transition into university life.
The day was opened with remarks from Hamilton’s Mayor Bob Bratina, Eric Girt, Hamilton’s acting Chief of Police, Anna D’Angela, VP of the McMaster Students Union and Sean Van Koughnett, McMaster’s new Associate Vice-President of Students and Learning.
