The first week back brought sub-zero temperatures, a dusting of snow and an annual winter favourite: Frost Week. See photos

Wrapping up tonight with a double-bill of Marauder volleyball action, the winter welcome featured the Polar Bear Run, glow-in-the-dark capture the flag and the Society of Off-Campus Students' annual Moonlight Skate at Dundas' Olympic Arena. Brave volunteers stepped up to lose their locks for a good cause as part of Shave for a Cure and the McMaster Marching Band performed at the Frost Week Carnival, held in the plaza between Mills Library and the Student Centre.
