The McMaster Museum of Art has some world-class works amongst its large collection.
Not all of them, however, can be displayed at once, meaning that some pieces are
stored in the Museum's vault.

Here, Ihor Holubizky, senior curator for the McMaster Museum of Art, talks about two
paintings by recently deceased experimental rocker Don Van Vliet, also known as
Captain Beefheart.

One of his pieces, “Lycanthrope's Pig”, will be included in the exhibition Autoplasmic,
running from March 12 to May 28, 2011.
