University Advancement staff earn recognition from CCAE, CASE

Several University Advancement employees have been honoured with Prix D'Excellence awards from the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE) for their innovative contributions to educational initiatives at McMaster.
The CCAE is a national organization that promotes excellence in educational advancement. Their annual Prix D'Excellence awards recognize outstanding achievements in alumni affairs, public affairs, development, student recruitment and overall institutional advancement.
“McMaster has an incredibly talented group of dedicated advancement staff,” said Roger Trull, University vice-president (Advancement). “These awards are well-deserved and recognize their many accomplishments, which most recently include raising more than $471 million for The Campaign for McMaster.”
Gold, silver and bronze awards are given in 30 categories. McMaster won seven awards, including three gold awards.

Best Program: Alumni Relations – Women's Series: Your Life…Only Better – Anne-Marie Middel, Christine Kennedy and Laura Escalante
Best Program: Development – Planned Giving/Annual Giving Collaboration – Alanna Burt and Paul Grossman
Best New Idea: Creativity on a Shoestring – MD Thank You Cards – Susan Emigh and Veronica McGuire
Silver
Best Donor or Volunteer Recognition Program – Annual Fund E-Stewardship Series – Alanna Burt
Best New Idea: Creativity on a Shoestring – We're Flipping to Say Thanks – Alanna Burt and Kyle Kuchmey
Bronze
Best E-Innovation in Institutional Advancement – We're Flipping to Say Thanks – Alanna Burt and Kyle Kuchmey
Best New Idea: Creativity on a Shoestring – Mac in a Minute – Anne-Marie Middel, John Popham and Kyle Kuchmey
McMaster was also awarded two bronze medals from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) for the Annual Fund E-Stewardship Series and the Women's Series: Your Life…Only Better.
