Alongside literary luminaries like Margaret Atwood, Titles was presented with the CBA's prestigious Libris Campus Bookseller of the Year Award at a recent ceremony in Toronto. The store beat out fellow university booksellers at the University of Alberta and University of British Columbia.

“We couldn't have won such an honour without our hardworking staff,” said Mark Lefebvre, book operations manager at Titles. “They are the reason the store is able to promote such a great culture of reading in the McMaster community.”

Campus stores were judged on their customer service, relationship with faculty, author events and atmosphere.

Other big winners on the night included Atwood, Joseph Boyden and children's author Melanie Watt.

The CBA is a national not-for profit trade association representing Canadian bookstores of all sizes, including independents, chains, specialty stores and campus bookstores, as well as those affiliated with them-authors, agents, sales reps, publishers, distributors and other industry suppliers.
