Holi – or the Festival of Colours – is a springtime holiday observed by Hindus, which commemorates the slaying of the demoness Holika by Lord Vishnu’s devotee Prahlad. The celebration includes the throwing of coloured powders and waters, which left revelers celebrating with the Hindu Students Association Wednesday daubed with dye.
