The Campus Store has everything you need for September and the whole year through

McMaster Campus Store

The McMaster Campus Store, located in the basement of Gilmour Hall (GH B101), is more than just a university bookstore. Of course, it’s the place to get all your required textbooks and courseware – but there’s more than that available.

Students, staff and faculty can rely on The Campus Store for school and work supplies, computer and technology requirements, McMaster and Marauder clothing items, gifts and parking and ID services.

The Campus store is also an ancillary service, meaning that a percentage of sales from the store go back into the operating budget of the University, helping to support various student services.

Here are a few more things you may not know about The Campus Store; and some new reasons to visit if you haven’t already.

Click and Collect

Obviously early September is the busiest time at the Campus Store. Save time and avoid the lineups by ordering your books online and picking them up between August 27 and September 14, 2018.

The campus store also offers shipping if you’d like your books delivered directly to your door (shipping charges apply – details here.)

Guaranteed Buy Back

Look for this sticker when you start your text book shopping. Titles identified as ‘Guaranteed Buy Back’ books can be returned at the end of the semester, and students may receive between 40-60% of the new book price. Tip: Keeping your books in good condition, will help ensure they are eligible!

Bus Pass Pick Up

First year, full time undergraduate students receive a Presto pass for use on the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR).  This pass is included in their tuition fee and should be kept for use from year to year. Pick up this Presto card at The Campus Store – but don’t forget to bring your student ID card! Tip: Bus passes may be picked up at any time, so you don’t have to stand in a long line-up just to pick up your bus pass.
