Take two minutes and help make Mac more inclusive

McMaster’s Employment Equity Census takes two minutes and is open to all employees.

McMaster’s Employment Equity Census, a ongoing six-question online census, is open to all McMaster employees.

As the university prepares to release the 2019 biennial Employment Equity Report later this fall, all employees are invited and highly encouraged to complete the McMaster University Employment Equity Census in September.

The goal of the two-minute census is to better understand the diversity among members of the community, improve McMaster’s hiring practices and track the university’s progress as it works to create a more equitable workplace.

McMaster has numerous initiatives currently underway to support employment equity. High census participation allows for better understanding of the diversity of McMaster’s employee community, and allows the university to track changes in our workforce over time. Employees who have already filled out the census do not have to complete it again unless their information has changed.

Census information is confidential and carefully protected in compliance with McMaster’s Statement on Collection of Personal Information and Protection of Privacy and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act of Ontario (FIPPA).
