The orientation program is a collaborative effort between Student Affairs and the Academic Program Offices and will assist students with their university transition and academic registration.
Students will participate in an academic success information workshop, experience life as a first-year student, receive academic counseling from their Academic Program Office and have the opportunity to begin the online registration process for their courses.
The orientation days will enable new students to meet peers from their faculties and interact with upper-year students, who will offer insight into professors' expectations in the classroom and provide information about community life. Students will also receive a Success Guide that includes valuable information about the many services and resources available to them at McMaster.
This is the first time McMaster is offering this program. More than 1,500 students are expected to participate. For more information, please visit the Summer Orientation Days website.
