Students, neighbours team up to clean up

This year's Welcome Week activities included a community cleanup event in the Ainslie Wood and Westdale areas, in which students and neighbours teamed up to tidy up the community.
More than 300 students took part in the initiative, which saw 125 bags of garbage and recycling collected in the community. A team of students from Moulton Hall residence took home the prize for most garbage collected.
City councillor Brian McHattie was also on-hand to help dispose of the collected trash. The event was followed by a BBQ at campus pub TwelvEighty.
