Students help clean up Ainslie Wood, Westdale

Teams of students hit the streets around McMaster Friday as part of the annual MSU Community Cleanup. Students collected dozens of bags of trash from Ainslie Wood and Westdale.


More than 100 students collected dozens of bags of garbage, recycling and bulk items at Friday’s community cleanup, organized by the McMaster Students Union.

Teams – organized by residence – headed east and south of campus to pick up litter along streets in Ainslie Wood and Westdale.

The team from Woodstock Hall won a $100 gift certificate for collecting the most garbage.

The groups met at the end of the day for an on-campus barbecue.
