Students discover Hamilton’s best eateries

Two Locke Street establishments and a Westdale staple are among the restaurants chosen as favourites by those who stopped by the Student Community Support Network’s table in the Student Centre Monday.

Students were asked to pose with a card displaying the name of their favourite Hamilton restaurant as part of the McMaster Students Union’s Discover Your City week.

Recurring favourites were Locke Street’s Earth to Table Bread Bar and NaRoma Pizza Bar, as well as Westdale’s Bean Bar.

Other picks included downtown’s August 8 and Sapporo, as well as the Black Forest Inn.

One student cast his ballot for something a little more traditional: a home-cooked meal.

Students have also been asked to name their favourite Hamilton coffee shops.
