Students award faculty for excellence in teaching

The McMaster Students Union (MSU) handed out its annual teaching awards September 23
at a ceremony honouring faculty for their outstanding commitment to teaching.

Award winners are selected by student voting and are recognized for their ability to
challenge, motivate and connect with students in their faculty.

This year's winners were:

Engineering: Nicola Nicolici

Commerce: Peter Vilks

Arts & Science: Jean Wilson

Humanities: Keith Kinder

Social Sciences: Greg Flynn

Science: Kim Dej

Kinesiology: Krista Howarth

Nursing: Kirsten Culver

The ceremony to honour the 2010/2011 Teaching Award winners will be held in March 2011.
