Second annual McMaster Innovation Showcase set for June

Scheduled for June 18 and 19, the event provides McMaster, Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) and St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton researchers with an opportunity to meet each other, investors, and researchers from industry to share their innovation stories and learn.

This year's theme is “Journeys in Innovation.” The two-day event will be structured around four thematic areas:

Planning the Route: learn about the programs and resources that can help you be innovative

Departures: learn about discoveries and inventions at McMaster, HHS and St. Joe's that are ready to be commercialized

In Transit: hear from businesses and investors who are collaborating with McMaster

Arrivals: meet the innovators who navigated the path successfully

This year, the showcase will build on last year's event, bringing back the poster competition and technology showcase while adding an additional focus on research contracts.

The showcase is again organized by the Office of the Vice-President (Research & International Affairs) and the McMaster Industrial Liaison Office (MILO).
