This day will mark the second annual Kickoff Cleanup, an event run by McMaster's Office of Alumni Advancement, Office of Community Service Learning and Civic Engagement and the Campus Town Association.

Students and alumni will meet at the new Twelve Eighty on-campus bar and grill for a few words of encouragement from area city councillor Brian McHattie, after which they will split up and head out to pick up litter and recyclables in the surrounding neighbourhood.

Following the cleanup, participants will head to Ron Joyce Stadium to watch as the McMaster Marauders host the Laurier Golden Hawks, making for a great day of giving back to the community while soaking up some school spirit.

The event is open to all alumni, students, staff and neighbours. For more information, please visit the Alumni Association website.
