Roundtable 2005 brings together Canada’s future business leaders

McMaster University, the DeGroote School of Business and the DeGroote Commerce Society will host Roundtable 2005 from March 10-12 at the McMaster Student Centre.
Roundtable is an annual three-day convention that brings together current and future business leaders from across Canada. It is a venue for university students and members of the corporate community to meet, exchange ideas and discuss leading edge issues in business.
The Roundtable is the largest single event within the undergraduate community, and will attract more than 300 delegates from more than 20 Canadian business schools.
“Roundtable is a unique event, organized by students for students, that promotes an idea exchange and a free flow of information,” says Sloane Mask, Roundtable marketing director. “Students are invited to share their perspectives and insights on leading issues in The Canadian and international marketplaces.”
This year's theme is Boundless Innovation and workshops will focus on fostering new ways of thinking and professional growth.
The conference features various speakers and workshops designed to incite new ideas and foster a sense of community among participants. Several activities have been planned to showcase the new, less industrial, Hamilton as a business destination of the future. Evening social events provide participants the chance to interact with the corporate sponsors, like KPMG, who support the event. This interaction provides networking opportunities, strengthens new relationships and builds important friendships that last far beyond the conference itself.
Last year, Roundtable was held at York University.
