As global efforts continue to help victims of last week's earthquake in Haiti, there are several ways members of the McMaster community can lend their support.

The best way for you to help is to donate money - not clothing or food - to the registered charity of your choice.

The Government of Canada is matching all donations up to $50 million that are made to a group of registered agencies and charities.

You can check to see if your preferred charity is registered before you give, and ask if the charity is receiving donations in response to the earthquake.
