Students, staff, faculty and community members gathered on the field in front of the John Hodgins Engineering Building Thursday for a showcasing of indigenous culture.

The event, organized by McMaster’s Indigenous Student Community Alliance, featured music, dancing and traditional cuisine from First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities.

The group’s goal was to introduce the campus community to indigenous cultures and welcome students to the McMaster community.
