From art and music to theatre and film, McMaster's School of the Arts is offering a broad array of events during the 2003-2004 season.

Beginning Friday, Oct. 17 with jazz musician Alfie Zappacosta, the School of the Arts and Wave 94.7 are co-sponsoring McMaster's third annual concert series “Smooth Jazz @ McMaster”. This year's line-up also includes Alexander Zonjic & Warren Hill on Nov. 9, Robert Michaels on Feb. 13, and Rik Emmett on March 12.

“To 'jazz' it up a little this year the concerts are being offered all around town,” says Lisa Violo, arts activities assistant. Zappacosta will perform in Convocation Hall, Zonjic & Hill will perform at Liuna Station Banquet Hall and Michaels and Emmett's performance will take place at the Royal Botanical Gardens.

Other upcoming School of the Arts events include: The Celebrity Concert Series on Fridays in Convocation Hall; The Visiting Artists Program on Thursdays in The New Space; and the Fall Major Theatre Production from Nov. 14-22 at Robinson Memorial Theatre.
