Each year, more than 40 per cent of McMaster graduates in many programs continue their education beyond a first degree.

The Career Planning and Employment Centre (CPEC) is routinely overwhelmed with stressed students who know they want to continue their education but aren't sure of the options available. They are searching for programs they can enter after their first degree to help them achieve their goals.

There are over 150 post-degree programs now available that students can enter from any discipline after they complete their degree. But many students are unaware of these programs. On Wednesday, Nov. 8, CPEC is bringing representatives from over 35 schools from Canada and abroad to campus to introduce McMaster students to the wide range of programs available after graduation.

These programs range from advertising to zoology. They are offered as certificate, diploma, degree, masters and doctoral programs. Students who are considering continuing their education beyond a first degree won't want miss this event.
