[img_inline align=”right” src=”http://padnws01.mcmaster.ca/images/hauntedhouse.jpg”]The McMaster Maroons, the University's student spirit group, patrolled the streets of Westdale last night (Oct. 31) to ensure Halloween was safe and frightfully fun for everyone.

An added treat for the evening was a visit to the spirit group's haunted house on 32 Cline St. North. Youngsters brave enough to visit the haunt encounter costumed characters, carved pumpkins and gooey spider webs.

Suiting up for the trick or treaters were Vanessa Ricci,
first-year social sciences; Mike Bayliss, fourth-year kinesiology and president of the Maroons; Chris Drielsma, fourth-year geology and in the ghost costume, Rachel Vanderkooy, first-year nursing.
