Barbara Carroll, a professor of political science, has been elected to represent the teaching staff on the Board of Governors.

Her three-year term begins on July 1.

The online election was conducted during the week of May 14. One hundred twelve votes were received.

While the voter turnout is somewhat disappointing–there are now about 720 faculty members who are eligible to vote in Board elections–it is a significant improvement over last year's first online election, when 46 votes were received, said Bruce Frank, Board secretary.
