Posted on May 19: Marauders announce early football recruiting class

McMaster announced the early football recruiting class based on
first round offers made by the University.

McMaster has picked up nine players including receiver Mike Bradwell or Toronto, defensive back Bryan Carey of Hamilton, linebacker John Andrew Cox of Beaconsfield, Quebec, runnning back Matt MacLean of Hamilton, receiver B.J. Malott of Cambridge, fullback Rob Mitchell of London, linebacker Ryan Neilson of Burlington, receiver Andrew
Ross of Burlington, and receiver Ian Tice of Hamilton.

A second round of acceptance offers will be made by McMaster later this month.

“I am very pleased with our early recruiting class,” said Marauder head coach Marcello Campanaro. “We have addressed some of our needs
and our team will improve as a result. I look forward to having these outstanding student-athletes fill roles within our team next season.”

McMaster will begin fall training camp on August 26, 2004.
