On graduation day, two McMaster students on their way to accepting a McMaster degree, were also on their way to accomplishing amazing things. At fall convocation they will make the same walk, only this time to be honoured.

Nominations for the McMaster Alumni Association's Distinguished Alumni Award are being accepted for alumni who have distinguishing themselves through outstanding scholarship, research or creative contributions to the arts and sciences. The nomination deadline is March 31.

The award is presented at fall Convocation ceremonies to honour two alumni who have established themselves as leaders in the arts, comprising humanities, performing and fine arts, social sciences and business, and the sciences, comprising science, engineering and health sciences. It is the highest form of recognition offered by the alumni association to its members.
