McMaster University's School of the Arts kicks off week two of the
Directors' Series 2004, with Lysistrata and The Soldier Dreams.

Lysistrata is a comedy by Greek dramatist Aristophanes, which tells the story of a group of women from opposing states who unite to end the Peloponnesian War. It runs on March 4 at 12:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and on March 5 at 8 p.m., showing second in a double bill.

The Soldier Dreams by Daniel MacIvor is about love, an examination of the effect of death on the living, and homage to those we love who have left us. This play runs on March 4 at 8 p.m., showing second in a double bill and on March 5 at 12:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Admission is free to both performances, but donations are welcome. They will be staged in McMaster's Robinson Memorial Theatre, Chester New Hall, Rm. 103.
