Posted on March 1: McMaster advances to OUA West Men’s Basketball Finals

In front of the largest and most boisterous crowd at the Burridge Gymnasium on the McMaster University campus this season, the nationally seventh-ranked McMaster Marauders defeated the University of Waterloo Warriors 83-60 in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) West Semi-Final Sunday.

With the win, the Marauders will advance to the OUA Men's Basketball Finals against the Brock University Badgers on Saturday, March 6 at 2 p.m. at McMaster's Burridge Gymnasium.

Tickets for the OUA West Finals, hosted at McMaster University are
available at the Copps Coliseum Box Office, and the Compass Information Centre in the McMaster Student Centre with no service fee. Tickets are also available via Ticketmaster by phone at 905-527-7666, online at www.ticketmaster.ca and all Ticketmaster outlets. Normal service charges apply.

McMaster is expecting a Capacity crowd for the OUA West Final and the Department of Athletics and Recreation advises patrons to purchase tickets in advance of the game.

McMaster's men's basketball team has advanced to the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) Final 10 National Championship in Halifax March 18-21, 2004. McMaster will appear in the National Championship for the 11th time in the past 12 years.
