Through this partnership, CELLutions will acquire the rights to market and distribute selected novel cell lines and other innovative biological reagents developed by researchers at McMaster. CELLutions focuses on the commercialization, marketing, and distribution of innovative cell lines and other research tools for use in basic science, drug discovery, and therapeutic development.

CELLutions will create and implement targeted marketing strategies to maximize the impact of these high potential technologies, and products will be made available to research groups in both the academia and biopharmaceutical industry.

“We are very pleased to enter into this alliance with CELLutions to assist McMaster in realizing new value for novel cell lines and innovative bioreagents produced by our researchers,” says Arlene Yee, industrial liaison manager.

At the launch, CELLutions representatives, McMaster technology transfer personnel and life sciences and health sciences researchers, discussed the new partnership.
