Finding a home away from home is rare and something to hold on to.

It is also something that many Canadian cyclists have been lucky enough to find in Hamilton as they prepared to compete in the 2003 Canadian National Cycling Championships.

McMaster University housed more then 100 cyclists and coaches for the duration of the Tim Hortons Road National Championships. The cyclists took advantage of the university's 11 residences which, for the most part, are vacated by students when the academic year ends. McMaster opens the living areas to provide accommodation for visitors to the Hamilton area.
